From 1998 to 2001, Emma-O played rhythm guitar and sang back-up vocals for the Toronto psychedelic/rock/space band Trans Love Airways. Below are recordings made when Emma-O was in the band.
On January 25, 2006 the Toronto musical and artistic community lost a unique talent and special friend in TLA founder Steve Banks, who passed away suddenly from heart failure. The era of TLA when Emma-O was in the band was a demonstration of TLA's evolving sound and of Steve's versatlity as a songwriter. There are several rehearsal and live recordings made of the band at that time, which Emma-O will make available as soon as possible. For now, check out the song "Elevator", which at the time, became the band's "signature" song.
