Posted at Emma-O's MySpace:
"Goodbye, Impatiens.
Well it brings me much sadness to report that The Impatiens are no longer. I tried to save it, guys, I really did. I did not want it to end, believe me. I will always keep it alive by keeping the MySpace site and other pages up. I'll change the songs occasionally. Unfortunately, the only songs ever recorded were the crappy rehearsal tracks from so long ago...but whatever, it's all I've got and I'm gonna post 'em.
I gave almost 2 years of my time and life and energy to this. There's no one sadder right now about it than me. And unfortunately, we won't be doing the gig on March 17th. I really wanted to, but I don't have much of a say or choice in the matter.
Anyway, if any of y'all out there found us and liked us, thank you for your support. All I can say is I'm sorry and I tried. ~ Emma-O"

psychadelic/noise project Chaotica, as well as mystical punk rock mantra chanting!
February
2005
Emma-O met with Thomas and Nicholas from PromoVoices and Vault Studios about
helping her produce a video. The song chosen was "Diamond Eyes". Ideas
for a concept were tossed around, and without telling too much, the imagery
for the video will be dark, disturbing and very artistic. An application for
a VideoFact grant was submitted, and a response should be received in April.
If
the VideoFact grant falls through, Emma-O still has plans to make a video on
her own, possibly for the Gloom song Unsunshine. All developments will be posted.
UPDATE, APRIL 12: Unfortunately, the VideoFact
grant was denied. But the good news is that Nicholas will be continuing to work
with Emma-O on attempting to produce a video. No matter what, Emma-O WILL be
making a video, most likely after the album is finished.
