Dronica re-releases their debut album, "Brain Shredder", which is mixed and produced by Emma-O.

Emma-O is still on hiatus from playing music in order to catch up on a backlog of creative work, some of which goes back 4 years. Among this work are unreleased recordings, numerous photos, artwork and writings. A new web site design is also in progress.

Emma-O relocates and is on a temporary hiatus from music and playing in bands.

Emma-O is no longer the lead guitar player for The Johnnys, due to band politics and differences of opinion. She begins to focus all her attention on her own music and projects.

The Johnnys interview featuring Emma-O and Veronica Johnny appears on the Aboriginal People's Television Network show, "Entertainment Beat".

The Johnnys' debut CD entitled "I Like it A Lot", in which Emma-O plays lead guitar and contributes material, is released.

Emma-O leaves the band Fidget, due to musical differences, and a lack of common interests and ideals.

The Impatiens disband due to reasons unclear.

Emma-O joins the all-girl pop-punk band Fidget as rhythm guitarist, back-up vocalist and co-songwriter.

Emma-O also joins the garage-punk-rock'n'roll band The Johnnys as lead guitarist, back-up vocalist and co-songwriter.

Emma-O self-records and self-produces The Gloom's official 4-song demo. Songs previously worked on with Edgar Lebel are re-written and arranged by Emma-O, and new material is added.

The Gloom officially bec0mes Emma-O's solo project.

Emma-O's song "Phone Sex Girl" hits #16 on the Hard Rock Charts at Amazon.com.

Underwire officially disbands and transforms into the two-piece band called Pimpinella, which features Buffalo, NY drummer Ziggy Sweet.

Emma-O's song "Phone Sex Girl" reaches #1 on the Punk Artist Chart at mp3.com Australia and stays there for 7 consecutive weeks. Emma-O (who at the time was using the band name "Underwire") also enjoyed 5 straight weeks as the #1 punk artist. During this time, Emma-O's songs were averaging around 100 streams of music a day.

Emma-O forms The Gloom with bassist, vocalist and co-songwriter Edgar LeBel of The Futz.

 

 

May 2002

Emma-O records using the band name Underwire, a 5-song demo at First Take, Inc., Toronto. The songs, "Phone Sex Girl", "Nothing", "Cheat", "Whenever I Call You" and the acoustic "Li'l Girl Child" are subsequently released. Musicians appearing on the demo include drummer Mark Johnson of Uranium Willy, and bassists Edgar LeBel of The Futz and Tom Heyda of The Avros.

Emma-O appears on the Toronto radio station CFRB 1010 AM call-in show the "Who-on-Earth-Told-You-You-Have-Talent" contest.

 

 

January 2002

Underwire, is profiled as the "Featured Artist" for January by Boise, Idaho fanzine The Blue Envelope.

 

 

January 2001

Emma-O officially forms the band "Underwire", featuring its first member, drummer Jay Fewings of Toronto. Subsequent band members over the following 2-3 years included Craig Bryant, Tom Heyda and Gary Duke (who went on to form The Avros), Edgar LeBel of The Futz, Dennis DeRoos of Knights of the Roses and Matt Coverley of Cold Blue Sky, Red Star Romance and Bad Samaritan Records.
